  • Submit an online application to bring a class to the reserve (choose Class Use Form)

  • Regulations for class use

    Class projects are permitted in the designated areas shown in the map below. Exceptions can be made with special permission from the reserve director. Students from a lab class or interns must submit a separate Research Application (click the online application above and close Research Use Form)

  • Facilities

    There is one portable toilet on the reserve at the parking area.

  • Parking

    A Special West Campus parking permit is required at the parking lot 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Please email the Reserve Director (sandoval@lifesci.ucsb.edu) to obtain permission for West Campus permits. The permits will then be available to be picked up at the UCSB parking service office (near Harder Stadium)

Permits: $3.00 per car/per day (no charge if you have a valid UCSB parking sticker).

Please encourage car pooling.
